The Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, through the generous support of its members and friends, as an honorific and service organization contributes to the visual art and design culture through scholarships and awards, events and projects. The RCA membership meets each year in a different Canadian city.
The RCA activities are supported by:
•The RCA Trust Fund which provides grants to public galleries across Canada to purchase and exhibit works of living Canadian artists,
•The RCA Scholarship Fund which provides financial assistance to young Canadians for post-graduate study in the visual arts, and
•The RCA Programme Fund which mounts exhibitions, produces publications and other public activities that strengthen Canadians’ appreciation of the historic context of art and design and the work of their contemporary visual artists.
