The Governing Council of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts is both a working and policy board. The Council is composed of Academicians elected from the broad range of arts disciplines and geographic regions, complemented by individuals who may be appointed for specific expertise in areas such as non-profit law, financial management and advocacy. Councillors provide high-level direction to the RCA and engage in the actual work that maintains the organization. All members of Council contribute time, energy, wisdom and experience to realizing the vision of the RCA.
The RCA maintains an administrative office in Toronto, Ontario.
