“The font IBM Plex Mono was chosen for the exhibition’s trilingual textual components because a suitable Korean companion existed, IBM Plex Sans KR, which allowed for a sympathetic merging of Latin and Hangul scripts. An aerial photo of Seoul at night was sourced. Turning the image sideways seemed to transform it into an abstract representation of the city’s vibrant contemporary culture.
