“This poster design features the Dair typeface as its central theme. Named after Carl Dair, the font was created as an homage to Cartier, which Nick Shinn regards as the first Canadian text typeface.

To highlight Dair as a font that truly represents Canada, the design incorporates the Canadian flag pattern textured with scratches from an ice hockey rink. In place of the traditional maple leaf, font samples from the Dair figure styles are arranged to resemble a pangram. The white background features a stylized graphic of an Ontario nautical navigation map, while all informational text is presented in the font Brown.”
